Shipments and returns

Shipping:  

12 Volt Technology makes every effort to ensure your product is carefully packed and shipped in a safe and secure manner. Our courier of choice is Australia Post for orders under 20kgs.  Delivery to P.O Boxes are allowable using the Australia Post option. Our courier of choice for orders over 20kgs is Star Track Express. Please note that Star Track Express cannot deliver to post office boxes. It is important you choose a delivery address in which someone will be able to accept and sign for the delivery. Freight costs are always charged at the higher rate between the actual and cubic weight. All freight costs quoted on our website include all shipping, handling and insurance costs. All our products listed on this website are designed for Internet Sales only; we do not have a pick up options available. All freight charges applied include a handling fee within the freight bill. Please note we may use other couriers if we are shipping from different locations.

 

Priority Order:

A Priority Order can only be placed when we are out of stock. The priority Order means that as soon the items comes in that you will have priority over other orders as you have paid for your product. Our warehouse team will give you an approximate delivery date and keep you informed of the progress of that shipment.

 

Returns Policy: 

Faulty or Damaged Goods:

All products sold by 12 Volt Technology are covered by the Manufacturers Standard Warranty Terms and conditions as specified by them on their websites.

It is the owners responsibility to cover the freight cost to the Manufacturers Nominated Service Centre for Warranty repair or replacement as nominated by the Manufacturer.

If a product has been received damaged, we will need a photograph of the damage and this must e reported to us within 24hrs of the delivery being accepted.


Refunds and Returns:

In the event that you request a refund or replacement due to the above, you must ensure that the item is in the original packaging, and is in an “as new” condition. When the item is received “as supplied” including all parts and accessories a full refund will be issued in the form the original payment was made, or a replacement will be sent.
