It can deliver sufficient current to charge a battery to achieve the optimum charge for your 4WD, Car, Truck, Bus, Caravan, Motorhome or Boat.
The REDARC LFP1225-LV is a 12 Volt 25 Amp In-vehicle DC to DC charger designed to keep your auxiliary battery charged whilst driving or with portable solar panels when you’re parked. The system charges your auxiliary battery to their optimum levels, using multi-stage DC DC charging.
The REDARC LFP1225-LV is a two stage 12 Volt 25 Amp DC to DC charger that operates with an input of between 9 and 32V. The LFP DC charger features a low voltage setting so it will operate in vehicles fitted with ECU-controlled variable voltage alternator.
The input voltage of the REDARC LFP1225-LV can be above, below or equal to the output voltage making it ideal for charging an auxiliary 12V battery where the distance from the main battery may cause a significant voltage drop.
The wide operating voltage range provides a simple solution to charging trailer mounted batteries.

Charging Lithium Batteries
Lithium Iron Phosphate auxiliary batteries are becoming more popular in recreational and industrial applications due to their improved storage capacity relative to size and weight. They are perfect for recreational vehicle power systems. However they require specific charging conditions in order to operate correctly and the battery itself must have cell balancing and an in-built battery management system. REDARC have considered this and designed a charging profile to complement the in-built battery systems.
